Never be surprised at the checkout counter again.
When I was a kid, my mom shopped with a calculator in her hand. Every item that went into the basket went into the calculator too. By the time she reached the register, she already knew the number it was about to show her.
No surprises. No blown budget.
GroceryRun is that calculator, rebuilt with a lot fewer buttons and a handful of groceries in mind.
Here’s the deal: when your goal is to avoid a surprise at the checkout counter, you don’t need the exact total. You need a close one. GroceryRun aims to keep you within about $5.00 of the price you’ll end up paying, and that keeps the whole thing simple.
Four big buttons ($5, $1, 25¢, and 5¢) cover any price in a few taps.
Grabbing an item priced at $1.49?
Round it to $1.50 and tap $1, 25¢, 25¢. Done.
Is it exact? No. Does it need to be? Also no.
Stay within a few dollars of the real total and nothing at the register should surprise you.
I built GroceryRun because I needed it. My budget was often tight, and I needed a way to curb my grocery spending before I got to the register. GroceryRun solved that problem by keeping me on track as I shop. I hope it can do the same for you.
